Ridgeline's preseason runs on bike checks, bike fits, and mechanical workshops. Our service department is a few minutes from the valley's trailheads and knows what a season of racing does to a drivetrain.
Riding with Ridgeline
Pronghorn Bicycles Logan is a headline sponsor of the Ridgeline Mountain Bike Team — Cache Valley's youth NICA team, racing the Utah High School Cycling League from June through October. Together with Lightning Kite, we bought the team its new bike trailer.

We bought the team a trailer
Five races a season, held all over Utah — and every one of them means hauling bikes, tools, canopies, and pit gear across the state. Pronghorn Bicycles Logan and Lightning Kite went in together as Ridgeline's two headline sponsors and bought the team its new bike trailer.
Teaming up was easy: the two companies share a building at 459 S. Main Street — and an owner. Dan, our franchise owner, is also Lightning Kite's president, and he's out with the team himself most of the season, which is really how any of this started.
That's why you'll find our two logos on the side of it. Wave if you pass it on the way to a race.
Bikes are how kids find their people
Ridgeline exists to develop young riders — physical and mental well-being, teamwork and leadership through organized training and racing — plus trail safety, environmental responsibility, and community service through trail building and maintenance. That's a mission worth putting a shop behind.

Coaches who know bikes
The team's head coach also runs our Logan service counter — so a mechanical question at practice gets an answer from someone who wrenches for a living.

Mike has been riding mountain bikes since the mid-90s and has led the Ridgeline team as head coach since 2025. He's also the Manager and Head Mechanic at Pronghorn Bicycles Logan.
It's the shortest possible line between the team and the shop: the person coaching riders up the climb is the same person who set up their bike. Stop by the counter if you want to talk bikes.
Keeping girls on the trail
Girls drop out of sports at twice the rate of boys by age 14. GRiT is NICA's answer to that — and Ridgeline runs several GRiT practices each season, led by female coaches, so girls can build skills and confidence alongside each other. We're glad to help keep those wheels turning.
Ride, volunteer, or donate
The 2026 season is underway — racing runs through October, and every race day needs volunteers for setup, lunch, and the pit zone. Registration for next season opens in the spring through NICA's Pit Zone; in 2026 the rider window ran March 29 through June 8, with team fees paid directly to Ridgeline. The team is a registered nonprofit, so donations are tax deductible.
